Alice is a highly qualified massage therapist with over 7 years experience.
As a teenager Alice was heavily involved in sports, especially athletics and was often in need of a massage treatment herself. Being on the receiving end and seeing the benefits it intrigued her to investigate studying this for herself. Alice went on to study Level 3 Complementary Therapies (Swedish Massage, Aromatherapy and Reflexology) at Bridgwater College, passing in 2014. She decided she didn’t want to stop there and furthered her studies for an additional two years to study Level 3 and 4 Sports Massage Therapy. Since then, Alice has continued to top up her qualifications and has qualified in; Myofascial Cupping (Level 5), Kinesiology Taping, Musculoskeletal Examination and Assessment (Level 5), Thai Stretch Massage (Level 1 & 2) and has also done a Pregnancy Massage Diploma.
Alice has worked in a number of massage settings since qualifying in 2014. She worked at Thermae Bath Spa; with day patients at Weston Hospice care; at Shepton Mallet Football Club for 2 years providing pitch side assistance, first aid and pre/post event massage to the first team; 3 years at a Sports Massage Clinic in Wiltshire, and is now a self-employed Sports Massage Therapist at a Chiropractic clinic in Dorset where she will continue to work alongside her clinic day in Wells.
Alice was raised on the Mendip Hills just outside Wells and studied at The Blue School in Wells and also at Bridgwater College. She remains a keen athlete and has competed for Bristol & West Athletics club. She is now living with her partner Jamie, two children and their Bengal cat Reggie in Somerset.
